'COMMUNICATIONS'
Thanks so much for the feedback from the Musings the last 2 days. Conversations are the lifeblood of human connection and interaction. Some communicate better one on one and in a peaceful setting. Others communicate better one to many, in front of a crowd or a group. Some communicate better via the written word.
The way in which we communicate and tell Stories to one another is not important what is important is the personal connections that you achieve through these communications is IMPORTANT. The common bond that makes affinity of the mind for one another. These connections through communications (ie: Story) have been the common theme throughout history and it is what makes humans different than other species.
When I stopped communicating with you through the Musings on a Daily basis we lost that connection. And frankly, me communicating my thoughts to you through the Musing is therapeutic to me.
This is also the reason that I’ve been working on EricVerdi.com as a way to communicate via different medium on one platform. With the Blog/Musing, with the EVTV, with the Podcast all in a central spot to get the various platforms.
And, it appears that you enjoy the ongoing communications and what is on my mind, what I’m working on, and where we are going…
The last few days have been refreshing, and the email responsive have been awesome. Some a few words, others a little deeper.
To those who shared, I responded to each of you individually, but know the feedback and kind words have been awesome. I won’t name names for obvious reasons, but the emails are appreciated!
-Glad you're back. I've been in that place before and you just kinda want to quit. How great for you to get back to your roots/WHY and get positive.
Have you ever considered teaching? So much of what you say (and say well) is personal development. As you know, it counts for all business people and personal lives and I love the reminder that I need to keep up my reading and learning every time you talk.
Thanks for the encouragement!
-OMG!
So brilliant!
-Yes, you do strive and thrive in chaos! I'm sorry to hear you were in a funk. I think you helped a lot of people by sharing this and being honest. Can't wait to check out EricVerdi.com!!
-Love the website, Eric! Super easy to navigate! I noticed 2 very minor errors, I attached a screenshot. (Hope it doesn’t bother you!
-I dig the new website brother, real nice.
-Good to know that even the mighty Eric Verdi still has these same struggles from time to
time.
There’s always that delicate balance between wanting to do more and needing to stay in the lane of what you know you were made to do. Still figuring that out for myself as well.
Hang in there dude.
Glad to hear you’re back in the game. I’ve been wondering about the radio silence
-We all wreck the race car from time to time.
-Welcome back, dude!
-Dude – I’m in a similar funk. Honestly, debating doing something different altogether. Most notably starting a food truck. Last 5-6 months or so .. the only time I’ve been truly enjoying anything is when I’ve been prepping for a gathering/party at our house. Setting the menu, doing the shopping, prepping the food, cooking, serving. That’s not work – that’s pleasure.
Not sure what to do …
-Love ya Verdi! Glad you're back.
-Yayyy!! Welcome back!!
So, to each and every one of you that responded and took time out of your day to communicate with me, I thank YOU! As you can see the comments ranged from a ‘welcome back’ to much more intimate conversations.
So, the conversations will continue.
Love ya – Cheers!
